Maintenance Supervisor (1)



Location: Nairobi
Industry: Property and Real Estate
Salary: 20,000 – 30,000
Our client, a leading construction and property firm, seeks to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor. The ideal candidate will also be required to carry out general maintenance of the various properties. 
Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Routine service requests to be completed within 24-hour period
  • Emergency service request to be completed as soon as possible
  • Check appliance and light fixtures
  • Repair or replace any damages
  • Responsible for the maintenance of all property lighting (street poles, lollipop lights, breezeway lights, exit sign, and emergency lights). Should be inspected on a weekly basis.
  • Responsible for being “on call” for an emergency schedule for evenings, weekends, and holiday coverage
Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma in electrical engineering or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience general maintenance.
  • Must have Customer Service Skills, Negotiating Skills, Organizational Skills and communication Skills.
  • Must be attentive to detail
  • Must have a valid driving license class G
  • Must have proven ability to successfully work with people

  • Handle assessment of mortgages 
  • Assessment of the value of assets 
  • Assessment of rent for leases 
  • Establishing the value of properties for sale. 
Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma in Real Estate or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in real estate sales.
  • Must have a Real Estate license

Our client, a leading construction and property firm, seeks to recruit two (2) lady Property Supervisors. The ideal candidate will also be required to carry out competitor and market research analysis when required.
Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Look after buildings, housing, industrial spaces and other property to make sure it is in good working order, looks clean and well-maintained.
  • Interview potential tenants to discuss leasing and property rules, collect rent or association fees.
  • Marketing the property 
  • Negotiating leases and rent reviews 
  • Oversees property maintenance, accounts payable/receivable and assists with capital projects.
  • Ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with all local landlord/tenant and real estate laws.
  • They are also responsible for scheduling contractors for maintenance, landscaping and trash removal.

Technical Sales Engineer.

The ideal candidate must have handled a similar position as a Technical Sales Expert with proven ability to move backups e.g. batteries, solar panels, solar lanterns, solar water heaters and generators in the market.
 Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with contractors and project managers to generate sales leads and developing long-term relationships with potential and existing clients for increased market share.
  • Prepare sales quotations and tender documents in line with the company pricing policy and the environment of the project.
  • Making technical presentations of company products resulting in increased sales.
  • Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations to enable sales planning strategy
  • Establish friendly and professional relationships with clients, ensure always a prompt and reliable service
  • Preparing action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and projecting the number of contacts to be made.
  • As a sales engineer, add value by helping clients solve technical problems associated with maximizing product usage
  • Motivating and closely managing the sales team to achieve targets

Technical Manager

Our Client, a leading provider in Security Tracking devices with its corporate headquarters in Nairobi is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of a Technical Manager. The ideal candidate should have strong supervisory skills, a mature personality and be able to manage people.
Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Co-ordination and preparation of daily work schedule on the client sites to be visited and ensuring that the technicians arrive promptly on site.
  • Do a daily roll call of the technicians.
  • Programming of units to be installed and handling all technical requirements.
  • Maintenance of records related to the Technical room e.g. job cards.
  • Training of technicians especially new recruits.
  • Advising technicians on technical skills.
  • Assessment and evaluation, studying of the market to establish need for advanced technology and training needed for the Technical team.
  • Link between the various departments within the Company in regard to client issues.
  • Advising clients on technical and related issues.
  • Random visiting of sites to supervise as technicians carry out their work. Qualification and Experience.
Required Qualifications
  • At least a Degree in Electrical Engineering or any other related field.
  • Should have minimum of 4 years of similar experience.
  • Computer science or natural science will be an added advantage.
  • Good presentations and communication skills.
  • Experience in installation of tracking devices on vehicles is A MUST.
