PR & Marketing Manager


Location: Nairobi

Our client, a leading international company that enhances a healthy lifestyle  is urgently looking for a Public Relations manager who will play the key role within the marketing and communications division, developing brand awareness and securing national press for primary and secondary brands. A candidate who will promote the image of the company to the community at large through appropriate PR programs and to assist the Retail and Wholesale Sales Managers maximise their sales, by constructing timely and cost efficient marketing and promotion programs.

Key Duties and accountabilities

  • Identify main client groups and audiences and determine the best way to communicate publicity information to them.
  • Write interesting and effective press releases, prepare information for media kits and develop and maintain company internet or intranet web pages.
  • Manage special events such as sponsorship of races, parties introducing new products, or other activities the firm supports in order to gain public attention through the media without advertising directly.
  • Evaluate advertising and promotion programs for compatibility with public relations efforts.
  • Direct activities of external agencies, establishments and departments that develop and implement communication strategies and information programs.
  • Facilitate consumer relations, or the relationship between parts of the company such as the managers and employees, or different branch offices.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree/Higher Diploma in Public Relations
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience
  • Diploma in Marketing
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Good organizational and planning skills
  • Have excellent problem solving and analytical skills

EPR/SAP Business One Implementation Consultant

Location: Nairobi

Our client, an International IT business that specializes in ERP systems implementation is urgently looking for a passionate, methodical and presentable candidates who thrives on creating effective solutions, within budget and according to specified timescales and have great people skills as well as clear understanding of business process.

As a consultant you will be responsible for:

Project delivery of SAP Business One solutions according to specification including:
  • Project Administration
  • System Configuration
  • Screen layouts and modification
  • Business Process reviews (BPR)
  • Business Process flows
  • Data clean up
  • Data Migration and importing
  • SQL queries
  • Print and stationery layouts
  • Crystal reports and dashboards
  • Testing (UAT)
  • Training-One on one, classroom. End-user, Super user
  • Issue identification, logging and resolution
Consulting for existing customers including:
  • Problem resolution and 2nd level support
  • Change requests(document, design, testing and implementation)
  • Implementation of solution extensions/add-ons
  • ERP Upgrades
  • Implementation and training on new features
  • SQL queries
  • Report and Stationery changes
  • New reports(crystal)
  • You might also have the ability to conduct requirements gathering workshops and to document these as functional/technical specifications
 Skills and Qualification
  • Degree/Diploma in Commerce, Business Science, Accounting, Computer Science or Technology     
  •  Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience   
  • Certification in SAP Business One, Accpac,Ms Dynamics/Navision, Syspro or a similar ERP 
  •  SQL Server experience and ability to write queries using SQL.     
  • Crystal Reports (or similar) experience. 
  • Good organizational and planning skills
  • Have excellent problem solving and analytical skills  
  • Must be a licensed driver and a holder of a valid passport

Shop Attendants

Location:Nairobi

Our client, a leading Distributor, Wholesaler and Retailer of healthy nutritional supplements and products in the East African region seeks to recruit Shop Attendants to man their stores across the Region.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
·         Responsible for the assigned shelves and stocks on them
·         Serving customers at the shelf with appropriate information and pleasant attitude.
·         Manage all necessary stocks and control damages and expiries for efficient sales at all times.
·         Note and forward all customer queries and information requirements to the appropriate staff or personnel within the store.
·         Bring to notice all errors at the shelf to the manager and rectify all systems which need to be in order.
·         Effective marketing of products on offer, expiries, slow moving stocks, etc.
·         Maintain shelf labeling where necessary, and monitor movement and advice appropriately.
·         Give suggestions on order levels for re-order to the purchasing attendant and thereby avoid over-stocking and stock outs.
·         Maintain pleasant attitude and manners with the customers and other staff at all times.
·         Responsible for all prices / price-changes which affect the products at any time.
·         Maintain cleanliness of the shop and help to organize and display items appropriately.
·         Develop personal skills and capability through on-going training, as provided by the company or elsewhere subject to company approval.

Skills and Qualifications
·         Diploma/ certificate holders in Marketing or any business related course.
·         Experience in sales and marketing will be an added advantage.
·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·         Confident, presentable and an aggressive sales person.
·         Highly motivated self-starter who can operate well with minimal supervision.
